This has been an intense and unsettling weekend because of the violence and racism in Charlottesville. The impact of these events is, of course, cumulative and as individuals and as a spiritual community we feel this. As a responsive community we have the opportunity to provide a place for people to come together in safety and support. This coming together can help create the strength and the clarity for positive response, and this expression of refuge can be a support for those of us from marginalized communities who are most directly impacted by racist violence and rhetoric.
On Friday evening, August 18, 2017 Beth Mulligan and Ian Challis will be offering a meditation sitting in response to the recent tragedy in Charlottesville, Virginia. Please join us for this meditation from 7:00pm – 8:30pm in the safety and support of our loving community.
