SUMMARY:Deepen Your Practice: Group Interview Sessions with Cheryl Slean
DESCRIPTION:Take your meditation and dharma understanding to the next level with monthly online group interviews with Cheryl. The meetings will be similar to group interviews at a retreat\, where several people meet together with the teacher to get feedback on their practice questions and reports. This is an opportunity for serious meditators with a regular practice to receive individual guidance from an experienced meditation teacher\, as well as learning from others’ interactions with the teacher. \n\n\n\nAll experience levels are welcome\, as long as participants have a daily meditation practice and a commitment to attend silent retreats when conditions allow. \n\n\n\nCost:  This program is being offered on a dana (generosity donation) basis.  More than ever\, we see how deeply interrelated we are. Supporting our sangha and our teachers through the practice of dana is an act of wisdom\, compassion\, and love. Thank you. \n\n\n\nPre-registration is required for each class. A one hour class will allow Q&A with 6-8 people\, chosen first come\, first served from the registration list. To allow for no-shows\, we will slightly over-book the class. Any registrants who are not heard due to time will be offered the option to go to the top of the list for the next meeting. \n\n\n\n\nRegister\n\n\n\n\nAfter registering\, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. The link you receive is unique to you. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout the Teacher\n\n\n\n Cheryl Slean has practiced Insight meditation intensively since 1995\, including hundreds of days of silent retreat. She was authorized to teach in 2007 and leads classes and residential retreats worldwide. In the secular mindfulness world\, Cheryl has a Certification in Mindfulness Facilitation from UCLA and has taught at many health & wellness\, addiction recovery and business settings as well as online with Mindful Schools. Cheryl is also a writer\, filmmaker and educator in the arts and sustainability\, and is currently working on social impact climate communication with the Natural Resources Defense Council.
