The program’s intention is to provide an opportunity for individuals to share experiences and views on the challenges of aging\, sickness\, and death. According to legend\, upon first having witnessed these inescapable human experiences\, the young Prince Siddhartha—the future Buddha—found an impetus to begin his search for awakening\, for a way out of suffering. \n\n\n\nToday\, those of us beyond our youth are also faced with these same challenges. And that is what led ICD to create Karma Café as a means of coming together in a supportive\, compassionate\, and caring environment to discuss these vital subjects. In a spirit of clarity\, please note that the program is not intended to be a grief support or counseling group. \n\n\n\nPlease register in advance for each session of the Karma Café: \n\n\n\n\nRegister \n\n\n\n\nAfter registering\, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
